For those interested in researching their own Brooksby line, given time, I intend to make available various data that I have collected over the years. Also, when EmmelineGarnett completed her Brooksby research in 1979, she passed on to me all her research notes. I will be making these available also. Hopefully in time, we can have all databases on line for all to see Like My Family History
To begin with I have placed a complete set of G.R.O. Indexes for births, marriages and deaths, from 1837 to 1969, on line. These only cover the spelling Brooksby and variations. I was not aware of Bruxby and variations in 1969. However, these were covered later by Emmeline, and will be available at a later date.
Andrew's machine readable versions of the above are at:
Emmeline Garnett's Data
Emmeline’s data, which I will make available just as soon as it has been scanned, includes her research notebooks, original detailed family trees for all the branches (a lot of 'stitching' required here) see BnPage41, will extracts, etc.
Orphan Brooksby.ged - 127Kb
420 'Orphan' Brooksby families from 17/18/19th Century yet to be connected to a main branch, extracted from LDS Church I.G.I.
