The sixth and last Brooksby family reunion took place at BrooksbyHall in BrooksbyVillage on Sunday 17th August 1986. This reunion had the largest attendance figure since the first one in 1979. Perhaps this was an omen, as we were unaware at the time, that this was to be our last. Amongst those attending were visitors from the U.S.A., but, unlike the first reunion, unfortunately no one from Australia was able to make it. However, as always, everyone had a great time. It might interest readers to know that the BrooksbyFamilyAssociationAustralia celebrated its 25th anniversary in April 2006, and has had family reunions every year since its foundation. I am hoping some of their members will contribute to the Brooksby Family Wiki in time.
